Hi! My name is Bic. I have been living most of my life in Bangkok, Thailand. I was born, grew up, and have been working here. I spent about 5 years in the United States in my early 20s (I started to speak like I am 50, well I am not quite there yet). I lived in Cleveland and Atlanta. I loved Atlanta, the city in which I found a lot of things about myself there. I found myself to enjoy outdoor activities, from mountain biking, kayaking, windsurfing to backpacking. Atlanta was a perfect city for these activities.

After I went around to many places, I found myself attracted to mountains more than anything. I could spend countless of hours watching and taking pictures from different angle of mountains. Spending a few days in a mountain as a backpacker is one of my favorite thing to do. But obviously that becomes an old day sweet story as I am living in Bangkok, where the world is so flat that you can park a car anywhere without putting on a parking brake.

What am I up to these days? If it is a rainy season, I might go out paddling for a weekend. There are a few good whitewater river in Thailand. Sometimes I go out for a day climbing trip in 2-3 hour drive vicinity. I haven't done much backpacking in Thailand. Even though there are a lot of beautiful destinations, the lack of solitude and the way forest is managed kept me from doing much of backpacking here. I also like to travel, to see different culture and ways people live their life.

In my spare time at home, I also like to read books, and search for the point of living.
